Field Trips

A field trip or an excursion is a journey by a group of people to a place away from their normal environment. School classes make field trips usually to observe something for education, non-experimental research or to provide students with experiences outside their everyday activities and environment, such as visiting museums, going camping or observing nature with teachers and their classmates. The aim of this is to observe the subject, make observations and possibly collect samples.

You can use Seek&Spot to create a field trip game with waypoints that students can follow individually or in a group. The waypoints can include learning tasks like answering questions, finding locations or QR codes, taking photos and voice samples, and writing reflective observation entries. Teacher or School Subscriptions give you access to a comprehensive online tools for creating the field trip games as well as seeing the progress of the game and downloading the student answers for evaluations. Field trip games can be created out of the box with the free Seek&Spot mobile game. For web-based online tools, please contact our Sales for details.
